Here I go again.
Another fuckin blog.

Leaving for airport in seven minutes; better make it quick.

First things first. This blog is about things I like. Let me tell you something I like.

Airports.
Either really small airports or giant international ones.
I love that you can get anything you need in an airport.
I miss flying way back when. I miss when I wasn't randomly searched, when I could keep my shoes and belt on, when I could take water with me on the plane.
I miss flying when it was fun.
I miss flying when I didn't have to show up two hours early to check in.
I miss flying when I could go and visit the cockpit.
Doesn't stop me from loving airplanes though.
They are the sort of heights I can handle, because I can't do a fucking thing about it.
I love international flights. Duty free! And the food is so much better.
I love that Gulf Air serves mango juice as one of the in-flight beverages.
You don't even know.
I love that Gulf Air tells me to have a Merry Christmas.
I love that US Airways will fail to do so.

I love hangin out in airports, waiting for someone to arrive.
I love it when people wait for me in airports.
I love it when they don't and my mom and I have to make our own way home in a country neither of us have been to in 12 years.
I love that my mom remembers exactly what streets to take to make it back to her sister's house.

I'm leaving now.
I love airports.
I'm excited to see Indiana International again.

  1. Airports are awesome. Although one time I bought a new Harry Potter book in the John Wayne airport in Orange County, California. When I landed in Denver they were selling it there for ten dollars less. Ever since then I have been a little bitter.
