strange compliments

Like "You walk pretty."

It is always the sort of stuff I am afraid to say to people.
"I like the way your lips move."

Or the sort of things I think about complete strangers.
I was on the plane today, and there was this flight attendant.
She was an older woman, but she had aged gracefully.

It is those sorts of things.

"I like how your hands fidget."

It is not even stuff I find attractive, just interesting.

"I like how you've got all sorts of different textures."

"You have the strangest voice. Please keep talking."

"I like how you don't care."

"I wish I could be you."

It's just those little things.

Point of interest,
best compliment I've ever received:
"You are interesting."

The sad thing is I don't remember who said it : (

But don't get me wrong, I like the normal compliments too.
"You're cute."
"You're pretty."
"You're smart."

The weird ones just stick around longer.

  1. I totally get that! I try to openly compliment people. Sometimes they don't expect it but they get used to it once they've been around me long enough.
The toughest one for me is I always want to compliment people for being short! Because I think its awesome. But no matter how much I try to explain the compliment it's always awkward afterwards!
